Seamless inpatient care from our surgical hospitalists

Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in taking care of patients while they are in the hospital, including those admitted through the emergency department.

Our orthopedic and surgical hospitalists rotate their schedules to ensure that you receive around-the-clock quality care while in the hospital and throughout your follow-up. They are members of a team of physicians dedicated to the hospital and committed exclusively to its patients.

Our hospitalists provide CarolinaEast Health System patients acute orthopedic surgical and fracture care and acute general surgery care. They also help patients who have elective surgeries and other procedures, such as soft-tissue biopsies.
