Emergency department care
Our emergency department team provides lifesaving care for over 70,000 people every year. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We also have paramedics who provide emergency transportation for a large geographic area and serve as advanced support for the many rescue squads in coastal Carolina.
Contact the emergency department
If you have an emergency, dial 911.
Minor emergency services
Our Emergency Department, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, offers a "Supertrack" for minor injuries and illnesses with no appointment necessary. When you arrive at the Emergency Department and are triaged to be appropriate for our Supertrack, you will be escorted to a designated area with staff available to care for your minor emergencies and illnesses.
Common health problems cared for through the Supertrack process are:
- Ear infections.
- Minor sprains and breaks.
- Upset stomach.
If you need minor emergency services outside of our normal hours, visit the CarolinaEast Emergency Department.
