After your visit to CarolinaEast Medical Center
After receiving services at CarolinaEast Medical Center you will receive a summary statement of inpatient charges or an itemized statement of outpatient charges. These statements will only reflect CarolinaEast Medical Center's portion of your bill. You may also receive separate bills from physicians, radiologists and other medical professionals that played a part in your care. These practitioners are part of separate, private entities and bill separately from CarolinaEast.

CarolinaEast offers patient focused options to assist you with your medical expenses
- CarolinaEast will gladly file your medical insurance.
- CarolinaEast has experienced patient counselors on staff to help determine if you may be eligible for Medicaid or other government assistance programs.
- If you are deemed potentially eligible for Medicaid by our patient counselors, professional staff from the Craven County Department of Social Services are on-site to assist you with your application.
